Hailey is a therapist who’s passionate about supporting kids, teens, and families through the messy, emotional parts of life. She has spent years working with children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, trauma and PTSD, self-harm, peer relationships, and family stress. She has always believed in showing up with equal parts empathy and practicality - she is a big believer in strategies that actually work in the real world, not just in a therapy office.

In sessions, she uses uses a mix of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy, and trauma-informed approaches. More than anything, Hailey focuses on creating a space where young people feel heard.

As the Co-Director of Dawn Therapy & Wellness Centre, Hailey is also involved in the behind the scenes helping with coordination, support, and big-picture care.

I’m a therapist who believes that healing starts with having a space where you can show up exactly as you are—messy thoughts, complicated feelings, uncertainty and all. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own, and I try to make the process feel a little more human, comfortable, and collaborative from the very beginning.

I work with teens, young adults, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, and major life transitions. A lot of the people I work with are hard on themselves, tend to overthink, or feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand yet. Together, we create space to slow things down, make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface, and find ways to move forward that feel realistic and meaningful.

My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed, which means I believe therapy should feel supportive, not rushed or one-size-fits-all. I draw from Narrative Therapy, DBT, IFS, CBT, and strengths-based approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you. Some days that might look like learning practical coping strategies, and other days it might mean exploring the stories, experiences, or parts of yourself that have been carrying a lot for a long time.

More than anything, I want therapy to feel like a place where you don’t have to pretend you’re okay or have all the answers. I value honesty, warmth, humour when it fits, and building a genuine connection with the people I work with.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me:

Spending time outdoors gardening or going for hikes

Browsing local thrift stores or trying new coffee shops

Spending time with my fiancé

Finding small moments to recharge and slow down

I know reaching out for support can be difficult, but you don’t have to navigate everything alone. My hope is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and able to move through life with a little more self-understanding and compassion
